Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Director of Cookie Development for R&D, the Kitchen Porter will be responsible for the daily cleanliness and maintenance of the Crumbl Corp Kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans and organizes dishes generated by the Crumbl Baking Team throughout the day.
• Completes regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen throughout the day; attending to floor cleaning and station organization
• Organizes all ingredients, labeling and receiving from food vendors. This requires FIFO practices, organization of sample ingredients, dry storage and fridge/freezer storage.
• Refills and labels various storage containers
• Maintains drawer and shelf organization with kitchen tools
• Removes regular garbage and recycling throughout the day

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service cleaning and maintenance
• Good organizational skills
• Self-starter who observes what is needed in the kitchen and executes those duties immediately

Working Conditions

This position is located in a professional kitchen containing multiple cooks/bakers, loud equipment, regular deliveries of ingredients and equipment, and fluctuating temperatures. The job entails regular lifting, handling wet/dirty dishes, maintenance and cleaning of the entire kitchen and any potential offsite project that is under the responsibility of the Menu team. The probability of getting wet or dirty is high for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for the entirety of the day
• Be able to move in and around a busy professional kitchen
• Have the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Be able to withstand higher and lower temperatures of a functional kitchen
• Exposure to louder kitchen sounds
