Full Time/Part Time(Minimum 30 hours Availability)Kitchen Lead:

Howlers and Growlers Tap House and Eatery is Windsor’s newest neighborhood eatery with a fun, delicious menu, bar, and roof top patio. Kitchen Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In charge of day to day operations in the back of house when Kitchen Manager is not on duty.
  • Assist with weekly inventory, food ordering, and check in as needed
  • Ability to handle/expedite high volume food orders.
  • Identify and develop future leaders
  • Ensure the kitchen is always clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Equipment is properly maintained and in good condition
  • Willingness to ensure the highest food quality by cooking and prepping to order
  • Assume “fill in responsibilities as needed” for team members who are off.
  • Have food safety knowledge and keep a current Food Handlers Card.
  • Expedite the highest quality food when needed.
  • Brunch and/or dinner experience preferred.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous management/supervisory experience 1 yr+ in a restaurant setting
  • 2+ years progress kitchen experience
  • Prior Line/Prep Cook experience.
  • Experience working in other areas of restaurant helpful.
  • Able to lift 30lbs/No Physical Limitations
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and work in fast-pace environment
  • Experience with opening a new restaurant helpful.
  • Full-time/Part Time availability(Minimum 30 hours weekly preferred) with a flexible schedule including mornings, days, nights and weekends.
  • Preferred:
  • Culinary Degree or 2 years progressive commercial kitchen experience
  • Drive to grow and advance career
