Purpose:

Mochinut is *FINALLY* open in Park City!

Mochinut provides quick-service mochi donuts, Korean rice dogs and boba drinks! Mochi donuts are a hybrid between Japanese rice cake (mochi) and American-style donuts, with specialty flavors rotating weekly. Donuts are made, glazed and decorated onsite by dedicated and creative team members.

We are looking for experienced shift leads to interact with customers and other team members and act as the next line of service escalation between customer and owner. We’re looking for amazing staff with the ability to cross-train between front-of-house customer service and back-of-house prep and cook in a fast food environment with a limited menu. Looking for someone 18+ to be able to use kitchen equipment. This position is a part time AM (10am-3pm) & PM position (3pm-7:30pm).

Essential Functions

• Opening and closing of store location, opening beginning-of-day and end-of-day reports without owner on site.
• Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments and complaints.
• Greeting with and interacting with customers in a positive, professional manner.
• Perform personnel activities such as supervising and training employees.
• Taking customer orders, preparing boba drinks and packaging donuts.
• Accurately processing cash and credit card payments and issuing refunds when necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash.
• Kitchen prep and cook duties: cooking, glazing and decorating donuts; preparing and frying Korean rice dogs and condiments; preparing boba pearls and drinks; prepping other side products as needed; cleaning.
• Notify the owner of any escalations or safety concerns.

Education and Experience:

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Must have reliable transportation or live in the area.
• Must be available beyond April 2023
• 2 years customer service experience preferred
• Part-time positions available
• Legally authorized to work in US
• Must obtain a food handler permit after hire
• Able to work weekends (specifically Sundays)
• Responsible and punctual
• Energetic and customer service-oriented
• Great attitude and willingness to learn and work as a team
• Good communication skills to manage other employees
