After-School Program Coach – Rewarding-Work, High-Energy, Resume-Building, Growth-Minded, & Fun-Filled

No prior chess knowledge is needed - we understand that the best chess teachers are educators that understand chess, not chess experts that try to educate.

The Company:

Our party-based, kid-focused approach focuses on all kids, helping them grow in sportsmanship and character and self-identity as very smart people. The Position: We’re looking for an assistant School Coach with a genuine love for kids, strong integrity and character, a highly gregarious and professional personality, a love for laughter, and a valid driver’s license.

• Work with and teach chess to kids by following our trademarked and perfected national curriculum that guides children all the way from learning the names of the chess pieces to mastery. Again, NO PRIOR CHESS KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED!

The Schedule/Location: Your choice of 1-2 weekday afternoons (more hours available upon promotion). We partner with dozens of schools across the greater Houston area, so coaches will need to be able to drive to different locations for different shifts within a designated and previously agreed-upon area.
