WHAT TO EXPECT

Located in a Gates location in the United States, the Key Accounts Supply Chain Operations Analyst will be responsible for the relationship between key customer accounts and supply planning of for the highest volume products for those customers.
  • This position will serve as a liaison and advocate for a key customer in the automotive replacement market to Supply Chain, Customer Service, Demand Planning, QA, Regulatory and Commercial teams to build strong working relationships.
  • This position will work in conjunction with the Supply Chain leadership to provide guidance, experience, and support to the manufacturing, component purchasing, and planning teams in support of the key customer demand.
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
  • Work in partnership with AR Sales Leadership to understand customer needs and collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to translate customer requirements into operational objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain monthly supply requirements, that prioritize key customer demand, through site collaboration and site commitments using systematic planning and allocation tools.
  • Monitor product allocations to ensure key customer delivery KPI's are met.
  • Facilitate and advocate the S&OP process with the assigned manufacturing sites/value streams, supply chain, and commercial support functions.
  • Maintain metrics that measure internal performance (for example, inter plant delivery, component inventory health) in support of key customer demand needs.
  • Assist in driving production to build and maintain finished good inventory levels that support superior customer service levels for assigned key customer accounts, while maximizing overall business profit and maintaining inventory objectives.
  • Monitor customer demand and industry trends to proactively communicate to Customer Service and commercial operations regarding availability dates and supply constraints.
  • Work with production leaders to ensure that all Supply Chain rules/ Planning Master Data are maintained and updated correctly on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Use VCP/Oracle functionalities and APCC BI reports as key planning tools within the area of Order management, Stock management, Forecasting and Reporting.
  • Provide insight and awareness for potential supply/demand imbalances including promotional events and engage cross functional teams to resolve to mitigate risk to key customer delivery.
  • Escalation point with a strong sense of urgency and drive for resolution
  • Engage appropriate business teams as needed



ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, supply chain, planning or order fulfillment experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or related field or 8+ years of applicable experience
  • Relocation is not provided for this position
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred:
  • 3 years of experience supporting multiple manufacturing site locations
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Advance Excel skills preferred
  • SQL and database experience is preferred
