Do you want to get your foot in the door of a veterinary practice? Our kennel team is small but connected and loves our patients and homeless pets with compassion and a sense of ownership. They are highly valued team members in our hospital and we appreciate them beyond measure.

We have anywhere from 20-50 pets in our facility at any time. Our team is responsible for medication administration, tracking and monitoring behaviors and health concerns, providing enriching activities suited to each pet's needs, and a whole lot of love and attention to room maintenance. Out patients often require special diets and lots of extra attention. We work hard to provide a vacation for these kids, and one that includes text and picture communication of all of their activities.

Learning kennels in a hospital setting has often been a gateway into other roles in the hospital. Many of us got our start in kennels and moved our way into tech roles and administrative positions. If you seek a start in the veterinary field, apply for this role.

It is important that you feel comfortable enough to understand general canine behavior, as well as handle kitties that might be nervous. Work will often include lots of cleaning and being a superstar with time management is key. Having a flare for taking an exceptional picture and teaching a pup something new is very valuable and we want to talk to you!
