Our Corporate Office is now hiring a Junior Network Engineer in Mountain View, CA. This position is full-time with full benefits and is perfect for someone looking to start their career providing daily IT Operation support to our end users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle daily tier one support from end users and generate tickets.
- Organize daily support tickets and finish them in a timely manner.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Take assignments from Senior Level Engineers and complete assignments in timely manner.
- Follow procedure to maintain user accounts per request.
- Perform daily routine checking on servers and services.
- Take on call role to provide 24/7 support to end users.
- Occasionally assist higher-level Network Engineers to design and test system architecture and software packages.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge Familiar with Microsoft Window AD environment or similar Directory Service.
- Basic experience with command line (DOS and Unix-like shell)
- Knowledge in TCP/IP, VPN, RDP, and other network protocols.
- Knowledge in CISCO and FORTINET network equipment would be a plus.
- Experience with end user support.
- Ability to evaluate software package and plan for deployment.
- Self-motivated and team oriented.
- A.A. in Computer Science or related field preferred.
