Journeyman Electricians

M.P. Baker Electric is seeking Journeyman Electricians for work in Lafayette, Indiana area. Projects will vary in the Greater Lafayette and North Central Indiana area. Hourly compensation is based on level of experience and qualifications
Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Lighting and fixture installation
• Install electrical conduit and conductors
• Install electrical fixtures, receptacles, switches
• Provide own hand tools

Reliable transportation and Driver’s License

Physical Requirements Must be able to climb ladders, sit, bend, stoop, stand or walk for extended periods.

• Must be able to travel to job site locations
• Ability to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Must have ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach lift, balance, carry, push, and pull as required for light and heavy duties
• Must be able to lift 40lb. with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 40lb. or more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Electrical: 3 years (Preferred)
