Job description

High Point Cleaning is a small, family-owned commercial cleaning company based out of Zanesville, Ohio. We currently have businesses that we serve in Zanesville, New Concord, Coshocton, Newark and Cambridge.

We are looking for a part-time (14-15 hours) janitor for a large facility in the Zanesville area which will include the following, mandatory hours:
Thursdays: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Fridays: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Sundays (not every Sunday): 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

• Applicant is subject to drug tests and background checks.
• Applicant must have reliable transportation.
• Applicants must be willing to work Holidays with Holiday pay.
• Strong work history and longevity of past employment will be taken into account. Previous cleaning experience is not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning - Cleaning-related tasks are at the heart of this position. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash cans, polishing woodwork, wiping down tables, sanitizing high-touched surfaces and scrubbing toilets are some of the basic jobs commercial cleaners perform regularly.
• Follow a Checklist - Employees receive instructions from employers or clients. Schedules of what needs to be done and when maximizes efficiency and job performance. Employee will be checked using said list.

Skills Include:

• Trustworthiness – We will have access to many rooms, stores, desks and confidential information. You will also be a key holder.
• Attention to detail – fully examining what you’re doing, ensures spots aren’t missed and every area receives proper treatment.
• Physical stamina – cleaning involves bending, lifting, and spending long periods of time on one’s feet.
