Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • The IT Technician is a member of an integrated technical team responsible for the operations and maintenance of Arcfields IT Enterprises critical to supporting its broad array of customers providing innovative and differentiated capabilities.
  • The IT Technician provides technical support to multiple technical programs of engineers, managers and organizations using a collection of corporate, customer, and other third-party systems.
  • The IT Technician work with Arcfields operations Engineers and Application Support Engineers to support the operation and maintenance of all components of the systems environment, including the integration of corporate proprietary software capabilities, and supports the installation and deployment of approved modifications to the environment to meet programmatic, corporate, and business development IT requirements.
  • Duties may also include, but are not limited to, identifying, logging, categorizing, performing initial triage, routing, and resolving incidents and requests; managing the lifecycle of incident and request tickets in accordance with interface agreements, and customer and corporate policies; performing program and user relationship management activities with other Arcfield corporate organizations, internal coordination and follow up for distributed actions, and compliance with defined processes, procedures, work instructions, and program requirements.
  • The IT Technician provides end-user support to remedy computer, audio/visual, basic network, printing, and other technology related issues in a timely and professional manner and works collaboratively with stakeholders to schedule and manage daily workload and special projects.
  • The IT Technician is responsible for coordinating and deploying the daily work of other contracted services, licenses, and products to ensure efficient remedy of Help Desk support requests.
  • The IT Technician is responsible for assisting and informing the purchasing process, configuring and installing new devices, assisting with inventory management and providing backup support on some networking systems.
  • The IT Technician is responsible for providing an exemplary and professional interface between the Arcfield IT department and all users by sending and receiving email, phone, and in-person communications to ensure that information flow is accurate, timely, and professional.
  • The IT Technician is a critical member of Arcfields IT Department and assists the Director of Information Technology on projects and other tasks as requested by the Director of Information Technology.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years with High School diploma or 2 to 4 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA
  • DoD Approved 8570 - IAT Level I (e.g., Sec+) and corresponding IT certification
  • Solid experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
  • Extensive experience working with Windows operating systems
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through company and customer IT Service Management platform
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Consummate professional in correspondence and interaction with customers and clients
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Linux system administration, with corresponding Linux certification
  • Experience with Network system administration, with corresponding Network certification
  • Experience with SharePoint system administration
  • Experience with SharePoint site administration
