As an IT Systems Administrator your responsibilities will include:

• Performing server administration task such as monitoring, patching and installing updates
• Installing and configure various hardware systems
• Monitoring systems performance and take proactive steps to prevent downtime or other issues
• Performing scheduled audits of core system and backups
• Documenting current processes and procedures
• Adhering to change management process
• Staying up to date with latest trends and technologies in IT Systems Administration
• Prompt response to system outages or service problems. May require off-hours work.

A strong IT Systems Administrator has:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as a network/server administrator position for 3+ years
• Proficiency in Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Server, and Domain management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 in an Exchange Hybrid Environment.
• Experience with building and supporting RDS server farms on Windows Server 2012r2 or newer.
• Experience with Microsoft NPS server.
• Experience with industry standard infrastructure components such as HPE/Dell/Cisco UCS servers, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switches, Meraki/Ruckus Wireless Access Points, Datrium SANs, Cisco/Avaya phone systems, and Veeam/Unitrends backup.
• Experience with Virtualization Platforms VMWare vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of Security Fundamentals.
