Velonex Technologies is looking for a skilled IT Support Technician Level II for full time on-site at a client location in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Santa Monica region. In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, applications, and cloud technology (primarily Office 365 and other Office Products). Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. This person will also perform installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established guidelines and may also assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers, and associated equipment, as well as other duties as assigned. Must live within 45 mins of Beverly Hills.

Pay range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Summary of duties and responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

1. Responsible for supporting end-users onsite for our corporate users. Function as level 2 with level 1 help desk support.

2. Manage client's IT infrastructure including Servers, Workstations, and mobile devices. Adheres to and implements security policies, user on-boarding and off-boarding.

3. Identify, research, and resolve Level I support tickets using User Support tools and processes.

4. Escalate issues, when necessary, within departmental guidelines and processes for resolution.

5. Maintain and support client operating systems and end-user software using remote administration tools.

6. Maintain, update, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer, network, and printing systems/hardware.

7. Able to create and maintain procedures, documentation, and reports. Detailed records are vital.

8. Willing to work after hours when needed.

9. The candidate should have experience in IT support, must be able to work well under pressure, independently, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

· 3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft desktop and server systems, Active Directory, and Azure.

· 3+ years of Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, VPN, Firewalls, and Wireless networks.

· Knowledge of backup solutions.

· Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.

· 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

· Knowledge working for an MSP with remote monitoring and management tools.

· Certifications or experience with products such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Fortinet and Cisco/Meraki.

· Experience with TrendMicro, VOIP solutions, and Apple products

Physical Requirements:

· Stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift/push/pull 40 lbs.
