IT Support Specialist

About the Job: Provides support to management and staff.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Set up, installation and troubleshooting technology and software.

· Upgrading, servicing and maintaining all company hardware and software.

· Managing company computers, laptops and mobile devices.

· Work closely with employees to offer training solutions and troubleshooting as needed.

· Establishes a good rapport and customer service with all company personnel and outside vendors.

· Maintains patient and employee confidentiality, complies with HIPAA and other guidelines established by the practice.

Set Yourself Apart: Skills and Qualifications

· One year experience in an I.T. support position.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

· Demonstrate proficiency with a Windows/Windows Server Environment.

· Knowledge of network terminology, interfaces and protocols.

· Experience working with computer hardware to include: install, troubleshoot, and replace hardware.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

· Telecommunications and previous help desk experience.

· Experience with Cisco Unified Communications system is a plus.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills.

· Reliable and highly motivated.

· Neat, professional appearance.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

· Physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry 30-50 lbs occasionally.

· Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat and reach frequently.

· Work is performed in an office setting and involves heavy employee/customer contact. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
