Summary:

This role will serve as the primary technical support point of contact for all staff on-site and remotely, providing world-class customer service, high quality, responsive, and thorough technical support, guidance, and options. The function of the IT Support Specialist is to provide advanced-level technical support for all aspects of the IT environment including end-user systems, production systems, and network operations. The position will provide a partnership with other IT staff on a variety of various projects and issues requiring a combination of technical expertise, analysis, communications, and world-class customer service skills.

Essential Function:

  • Troubleshoot problems with software, hardware, user profiles, basic networking, phones, printers, and mobile devices.
  • On/Offboarding of employees and provision equipment.
  • Microsoft Office 365 account provisioning, de-provisioning, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud-based systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Diagnosing and/or resolving problems in response to a customer reported incidents.
  • Use IT best practices to helpdesk standard policies and procedures, and ensure the helpdesk adheres to these procedures
  • Manage user hardware lists and track replacement cycles.
  • Deploy, maintain, and support user hardware and software.
  • Deploy, maintain, and support mobile devices.
  • Maintain/install service packs, updates, and patches.
  • Maintain virus protections, passwords, permissions, and access control.
  • Monitor/configure Microsoft Online Services included but not limited to: Exchange Online, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Interface with vendor support when applicable.
  • Assist the IT Manager in security related events research and mitigation.
  • Provide support with large-scale, complex IT projects and implementations.
  • Ability to support multiple sites globally remotely.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for remote users, providing technical support and troubleshooting for remote access, VPN, and other remote tools.
  • Available on call to respond to emergencies when needed.
  • Maintain asset information, including warranty/support status and renewals.
  • Organize and maintain physical assets, including disposal and cleanup.
  • Leads the efforts to document and maintain work processes and standards, including documenting procedures for troubleshooting and incident resolution/solution.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of IT and desktop support work experience in a small or medium business environment.
  • College Degree, Information Systems, or Related Field preferred.
  • 2+ Helpdesk experience with JIRA Helpdesk preferred.
  • Microsoft Windows/Windows Server and Office experience required.
  • Azure Cloud experience preferred.
  • Availability for limited after-hours and weekend work as needed.
  • NetSuite knowledge a plus
  • Jira / Confluence a plus
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices and implementation, preferably in a highly regulated environment a plus.

California:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$71,000 + target annual bonus.

Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.
