Overview:
The IT Project Manager I / Coordinator is a full-time position with Atlantic Health System (AHS) Information Services & Support department. The position has responsibility for assisting with operations of the PMO and managing small scale initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor queue for Service tickets submitted to ISS (Information Services and Support) PMO
  • Coordinating small scale / cross functional Ambulatory initiatives
  • Maintains records, templates, and artifacts of the PMO. Creates reports to assist with management of the project portfolio.
  • Proficient in Power Point for Executive Leadership presentation
  • Proficient in PPM tools to gather Project Mgmt. reports, financial impact analysis of all Project in in the PMO.
  • Provide assistance with Project Governance meetings, and financial analysis and assessments.
  • Organizes and attends meetings and events as appropriate for the project(s), creating agendas and notes.
  • Proactively and appropriately escalates risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Selects appropriate project artifacts for use. Keeps artifacts up to date. Creates artifacts in a manner consistent with ISS project management methodology, allows for efficient project management, and meets stakeholder needs.
  • Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members. Recognizes contributions and celebrates accomplishments.
  • Has excellent communication skills. Listens well, speaks and writes clearly and concisely.
  • Displays model behavior. Engages others in attaining a future vision not only for the project, but for the organization.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience working in IT, Financial or healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated success with project coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management methodology, System Development Life Cycle, and core business processes such as budgeting, procurement, and contracting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously demonstrating flexibility and creativity.
