IT Project Manager/Analyst

Job Summary:

The IT Project Manager/Analyst will be responsible for supporting McCall Farms ERP and Business Database Services functions, as well as providing support for related initiatives. The primary duties of this position include coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities, managing internal and external project resources, utilizing IT and PM strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget, business systems analysis, reporting and dashboard creation and maintenance, and technical communication. The nature of this work requires an individual whose background combines functional system expertise and business management skills with an understanding of information technology, and highly advanced problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly develop a solid understanding of the McCall Farms ERP System and Data Warehouse, S&OP, WMS, and related systems.
  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, and IT Staff on items related to ERP, WMS, and S&OP Projects and initiatives
  • Work one on one with the Business to develop requirements and best practices for aligning our Business Processes and IT Solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication between IT, Operations, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Sales Management to communicate progress and status of all initiatives and projects.
  • Utilize Project Management Tools to track project performance.
  • Perform other business analysis duties and required to support assigned enterprise systems.
  • Understand and administer the reporting tools needed to support information requirements
  • Train business users on system functionality

Additional Description:

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and have the ability to work in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment. The desired candidate will have proven technical skills, the ability to work with employees and management at all levels, and the ability to work with outside vendors, consultants, and support personnel as well as customers. As McCall Farms is a 24X7 operation, the ability for the candidate to take call outside of "regular" business hours is both nece3ssary and expected in order to support systems. Night and weekend work is sometimes required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Project Management and/or Business Analysis preferably in a Manufacturing, Distribution, or Production Environment.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP Systems required (SAGE ERP/MAS 500 experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Advanced Experience with MS Project, Excel and Access with an emphasis on Data Analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Query Analyzer (2012 R2 and later)
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions.
  • Self-starter, who needs little direction and is highly motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
  • Analytical, results-oriented, self-confident, high integrity, professionally assertive

Minimum Experience: 6 years

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
