Job description

We are currently seeking a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician to help support our company and clients. Willing to train but some experience is required.

Qualified candidates should be capable of working in multiple environments (both physically on-site or remotely) under minimal supervision or direction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Provide phenomenal customer service.

● Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues

● Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to intermediate Operating System and application issues.

● Perform hardware/software moves, changes, additions, upgrades, and deployments.

● Documentation through service tickets of issue resolution/tasks performed.

● Troubleshoot and help administer company's Google Workspace account.

● Support different departments with various technical requirements.
Relevant Experience:
● Windows OS (7/8/10)

● MS Office (2010+)

● Google Workspace/Gmail

● Basic networking knowledge

● Basic computer hardware knowledge

● Previous Helpdesk experience
Abilities:
● To learn new technologies

● To multi-task and handle issues in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

● To work independently and be resourceful in problem-solving.

● Strong organizational skills

● Able to prioritize and adjust workflow according to demand/issues

● Can work remotely, but must live in the Chicago area and have access to our Elmhurst office.
