Compu-Experts, a locally owned IT Consulting Firm, has been supporting business & home clients of Seabrook, Kiawah, and Johns Island for over 25 years with all of their technical needs. These needs range from Computer & Printer Sales, Installation, and Support, Wired and Wireless Network Setup & Support, Hardware & Software Troubleshooting, and more.

We have a full-time position open for an individual who has a strong combination of troubleshooting and customer service skills to deal with individuals at our storefront, located inside of the Post & Computer Center at Freshfields Village Shopping Center. Customers will expect support on computers, tablets, smartphones, and other technical questions.

The employee will be expected to have:

-Excellent Customer Service Skills to deal with individuals of all types of ages and tech levels.

-Knowledge of Business and Corporate Networks including routers, switches, firewalls, and Windows Server-Based Systems.

-Excellent Troubleshooting Skills in the following areas - PC/Laptop Hardware/Software, Apple Computer Hardware/Software, Tablets (iPad and Android), Smartphones (iPhone and Android), Wireless Printers/Scanners, Antivirus & Malware Removal, Internet Browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome), Basic software installation, 1 on 1 Training with customers on how to do certain tasks.

-Honesty and Dependability.

-Ability to look up answers to problems and communicate with a team of other employees to find solutions to customer's technical issues.

-Reliable means of transportation in order to drive to residential homes and businesses.

-Ability to handle cash/credit card transactions and invoice clients.

-Excellent organization skills to handle his/her duties.

-Excellent communication skills required to deal with customers and other employees.

-Ability to multi-task and be ready to handle various tasks at certain times.

-Willing to drive to the Seabrook/Kiawah area each day to report to the office.

-Willing to begin work as soon as possible.

Other Job Details:

An Associates or Bachelors Degree in a Computer or Technical Field is required.

Previous job experience in an IT or Technical Support Job is required.

Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Mileage driven for work-related service calls will be reimbursed to the employee.

Job Type/Pay: Once Hired, the individual will be on a 90-day Interim position Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM. Upon performance evaluation, the position will immediately switch to a salaried position with salary increases, health benefits, paid sick/vacation time, and performance bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
