About You:

You are a reliable, diligent professional with a background in managing, maintaining, and contracting projects related to information technology systems. You are well-organized, plan projects with great forethought and use data to guide your proposals.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including Device management, Wired and wireless networks, and Administration of company-wide software systems (file management, email, voice/video comms, et al)
• Sourcing and handling of all external IT contractor relations
• Collaborating with and providing recommendations to the organization on developer operations, software system choices, operational security, risk mitigation, disaster recovery, and server/data infrastructure
• Driving system evaluation and communication - identify needs, prepare reports, and present recommendations.
• Making visits to company sites in Washington and northern California, as needed

Qualifications

• A completed undergraduate degree or similar relevant experience in information technology systems.
• 3 or more years of experience as a practicing IT professional, ideally with responsibilities similar to those above
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Passionate and self-motivated attitude and a penchant for innovation.
• Optional Qualifications: Fluency in Spanish and a familiarity with forestry and nursery operations

As of February 2023, the base salary for this role falls within this band: $105,000 to $125,000 p.a. We'll determine the candidate's level based on their experience and skill level.
