The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for preparing, Monitoring and coordinating all inventory status reports and take proactive approach to mitigate supply shortages and stock outs. Perform research and Data analysis to monitor and ensure key performance indicators are at Target levels according to established standards. Working closely with Supply Chain Management on adding new items to inventory, determines velocity and the appropriate stratification for these items. Responsible for maintenance of perpetual on non- perpetual inventories includes physical inventory locations, bin locations and Par level maintenance. Ensure cycle count measures are followed to prevent discrepancies. Communicate and coordinates with distribution team regarding stock outs, critical low or backorders. Accountable for properly communicating inventory availability and stock changes to critical staff.

Position Requirements :

Minimum Education:

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Associates Degree

Minimum Experience:

Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains replenishment and restocking of perpetual and non-perpetual for specified areas of responsibility. Properly troubleshoot backorders and communicates availability and potential substitutions appropriately to clinicians.

Responsible for inventory management including inventory additions, changes, deletes and par level changes. Provides data and feedback to clinicians on supply movement and provide potential suggestions for par level changes. Performs necessary activities surrounding Bill Only process.

Management of consignment by working with sales associates to document inventories and product changes. Works closely with OR Team Leads to maintain preference cards in relationship to conversions, substitutions, and physician onboarding.

Performs cycle count process and properly documents expired product information using defined protocols.

Completes usage, stock out, and productivity analysis reports using various computer software programs to include Excel, Word, and other documenting applications.

Actively participates in overall Departmental Quality Improvement Programs and completes appropriate performance or quality assurance checks as directed by the supervisor
