Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Department: Maryland Operations Department
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Reports To: Inside Sales Manager, Warehouse & Inventory Control
Job Overview:
The Inventory Specialist will be a team player, providing the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers by implementing great communication, attention to detail, and organization skills.

  • Posses 3 years of inventory experience preferred
Scope of Responsibility:
  • Support Purchasing/Inventory personnel with core duties including the following:
    • Order inventory
    • Monitor & set mins/max
    • Order & invoice verification
    • Monitor disposition of excess inventory (list, announce, set sale pricing, SPIFF)
    • Pricing announcements & updates
    • Review & enter stock specials / loading programs
    • New products & lines
    • Obsolete products
    • Run purchase & sales reports
    • Preparing reporting to vendors
    • Inventory Stock Return
    • Inventory Warranty returns / credits
    • Inventory Freight Claims
  • Experlogix – oversee & monitor; inputs; updates
    • Updating pricing & product info on existing items
    • Monitoring venders for price increase/updates notices
    • Monitoring Experlogix email for any errors currently in the system
    • Updating Excel spreadsheets with new pricing/info and uploading to Experlogix
    • Update hyperlinks to cutsheets to keep them up to date
    • Creating new Excel worksheets with all relevant information on the products
    • Creating relevant properties in Experlogix to map the information to
    • Adjusting UI to display information correctly
    • Create rules using basic logic expressions to correctly display relevant information
    • New employee training on using the program
    • Support of inside sales & outside sales with questions and issues.
