Intervention Specialist
Job description
We seek experienced Interventionists to join Journeys Children's Program to work with children with developmental disabilities in Burley, Idaho and the surrounding area. An Intervention Specialist provides direct therapy to participants, teaches life skills and socialization, and works to reduce problem behaviors in the home, community, and school settings. A specialist also works to educate those involved in the child's life to help support the child to reach their full potential.
To qualify as an Intervention Specialist you:
- Have a bachelor's Degree
- 1 year/1040 hours of experience working with children (ages 3-21) with developmental disabilities
- Other Developmental Disability Experience
- are self-motivated and can work unsupervised
- Can pass a background check from the Department of Health and Welfare
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
