Ascendo Resources is seeking a dynamic International Tax leader, 100% remote, for its esteemed client, a premier CPA firm in the Chicagoland area providing Tax Advisory, Audit Assurance, Property Management and Pension planning experiencing explosive growth.

We are recruiting for a Tax Senior Manager to help launch a new international tax practice for LATAM, Europe & Asia transactions. This role will require experience with: GILTI, FIDII, 5471 & 8858.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage, drive the success of multiple engagements across different jurisdictions
• Client facing
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent
• Works with client relationship executives to serve clients on international tax planning and compliance matters.
• Conducts research related to individual international tax issues
• Keeping abreast of changes in industry regulation, maintain competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• You have a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree or LLM in Taxation is preferred.
• You have 4+ years of experience in public accounting.
• You have at least 2+ years of experience working with international companies and their expat population tax issues and compliance.
• You have an active CPA license

Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
