Responsibilities:


Position Summary:
Become a member of Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Directorate for Cyber Test and join a high performing operational team in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The candidate's understanding of the MDA test program and test data management, and ability to analyze, integrate, and coordinate all aspects of mission preparation and execution will ensure the success of the MDA cyber test program.


Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate will work with multiple mission stakeholders in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of cyber testing within the Missile Defense Agency. The candidate will provide cyber test analysis support on complex system-level development and operational cyber test events in the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) and/or operational environments. The candidate will assist with implementing component and system cyber security test planning and execution. The candidate will collaborate with MDA, other DoD and non-DoD military, civilian and contractor personnel to identify, verify, and request system-level assets to be assessed during the cyber test in support of deployment decisions of Missile Defense System (MDS) capabilities. The applicant will asset in scheduling assets to ensure the mission will meet test execution and overall MDA objectives. The candidate will prepare decision-quality materials such as test execution, briefings and supporting documentation (staff call charts, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers) for senior level cyber test technical reviews, executive reviews and milestone decision meetings. The candidate will identify, generate and manage schedules, requirements and other documentation in support of cyber test operations. The candidate will provide insight to the development of the Integrated Data Management Plan (IDMP) and provide status updates on the submission and cataloging of Data Item Description (DID) inputs related to the cyber test events.


Qualifications:

Skills

Required Skills and Experience Include:

  • BA/BS in a field pertinent to the position being filled. Three years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement.
  • 7 years relevant experience. Experience with DoD test processes, test support, and/or test execution desired.
  • Clearance: Secret to TS/SCI.
  • Support concept planning; design and development; integration, testing, and verification at the MDS system, element or component level.
  • Capable of supporting the development and utilization of analytic techniques and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Provide knowledge, skills, and abilities in the analysis field.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with willingness to learn

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience with MDA organization and MDS design, performance and testing
  • Experience with DoD testing and DoD test execution
  • Experience and understanding of the MDA test data management system and the Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) operations
  • Ability to communicate detailed technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel and senior leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks

Travel Required: Up to 15% of the time

a hybrid work schedule (Work in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Work from home on Monday and Friday)
