Become Interim Director of Nursing for a California Hospital

The Position

• The Interim Director of Nursing will direct and coordinate functions of the nursing department and assigned clinical operation departments.
• The Director will consult and advise the Administrator on the general operation of the hospital, as well as develop clinical and nursing department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies, and procedures.
• Focus on organizing the nursing and clinical departments according the administrative and nursing guidelines, while ensuring compliance with legal, organizational, and medical staff.
• Has authority and responsibility for establishing, directing, and implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice and the clinical operations and financial matters related to all nursing and clinical care areas and functions.
• Seeking a candidate who brings a positive attitude to the department with strong leadership skills and can work in a team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or clinical specialty required.
• Active RN License.

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $177,000 - $187,000 annually
• Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.

• In a standard Interim Leadership arrangement, the client pays for travel home every other weekend.
• The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
