POSITION SUMMARY:
Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions.- Obtains the required information to facilitate admissions.
- Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.
- Completes pre-authorization of services.
- Welcomes patient and completes paperwork upon arrival to facility.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors’ Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with behavioral health care, crisis management, substance use disorder and/or other psychological assessments or intake required.
EMPLOYMENT CONTINGENCY:
In accordance with the New Mexico Department of Health order dated August 17, 2021, Haven is requiring hospital workers to be fully vaccinated, all employees and contractors of Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque are required to obtain the COVID-19 Vaccine or receive approval for an exception.
