Farmers Insurance - District 24 is seeking an enthusiastic, career minded, self-motivated professional, with effective time management and self-reliance to accomplish goals, to apply for a one year paid apprenticeship (Protégé Agent) that leads to career advancement including the opportunity to become a Farmers Agency Owner.

Our competitive program provides a unique opportunity for mentorship and training from an established agency owner. You’ll learn valuable tools that teach you how to sell, service, and differentiate insurance policies, as well as learn the ins and outs of agency management and operations.

Training and Development (includes but not limited to):

  • Sales lead tracking and management using CRM tools
  • Multi-channel prospecting including substantial phone and email follow-up
  • Customer suitability and insurance coverage consultation
  • Development and presentation of insurance proposals
  • Establish and support client relationships with timely and exceptional service
  • Agency office operations including fiduciary responsibilities, staffing, team management
  • Professional networking including social media, business to business, referral groups, etc.

Qualified candidate demonstrates:

  • At least two years of sales and professional office experience
  • Ability to obtain or already carry insurance licenses
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take risks
  • Genuine thirst to learn to be mentored
  • Critical thinking, intuitive thought processes, resourceful solution finding
  • Great self-starter and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • College degree preferred but not required

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
