Support our laboratory customers throughout the US. This role of Electrical/Mechanical Instrumentation Technician is responsible for assembling, testing and repairing our bench top Analyzers.

What You Will Do:

· Assemble / test / repair bench top analyzers

• Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications

· Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly

· Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem

· Maintain and service all equipment when necessary

· 3 different product lines – not the same thing every day

What we are looking for:

· Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude

· Excellent Soldering / Crimping skills

· Able to use basic hand tools screwdrivers, nut drivers, drill, etc.

· Basic understanding of electricity / use of a standard multi-meter

· Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

· Good Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suites

· Excellent communication skills

· Work independently and with a team

· Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic

· Strong attention to detail – everything is to be built to exact specifications

· Willing to learn the entire process of assembly / offer suggestions for improvement
