SAFEbuilt is currently looking for an Inspection Scheduler to support our fast-paced to support our operations. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for leading and maintaining the Customer Service and enforcing policies and procedures as well as streamlining effective billing processes with multiple clients and contracts.
- Perform administration functions as necessary or directed
- Issuing and/or tracking permits through the permitting process, beginning with application acceptance, plan review, inspections and permit closure.
- Establishing and maintaining systems to ensure that all files, letters, reference manuals, field inspection reports, permit files, blueprints, drawings, and other data or material is maintained in an organized fashion.
- Scheduling inspections for various inspectors to various locations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent customer service representative skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possess the ability to positively interact with the other staff members, the general public, contractors, governmental entities, and other clientele.
- Good time management, organization, telephone, attention to detail, and people skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- ICC Permit Technician and other certifications are a bonus
COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rate and benefits package.
