Marble of the World is a high end natural stone and surfaces distributor. We work heavily with the South Florida design community as well as customers home builders and other trade professionals. Marble of the World is apart of The Stone Collection and together has a wide national foot print with 8 locations around the country and plans for growth within the state of Florida which will bring further opportunities for growth in the future.

The inside sales position will be based in out of our Palm City showroom and distribution center. There will be training and opportunities for cross training at our brand new 100,000 SF state of the art Pompano facility as well. Inside Sales will be expected to assist design professionals, builders, stone fabricators, other trade professionals, as well as end users/homeowners when needed. Inside Sales will be dealing with South Floridas leaders in luxury building and design and will need to carry themselves in a professional manner. An eye for design and any design experience will be helpful.

The assistance to our trade professionals will be providing support to our outside sales team who manage many of these accounts visit these firms on the out side.

A range of compensation has been listed and will ultimately depend on your experience in the industry or related industries.

This is a 5 day per week schedule with rotating Saturdays. Weeks where Saturdays are worked will yield a day off during the week in order to maintain 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

- Help keep showroom and work areas clean and orderly.

-Help organize and table material and design samples.

- Assist customer walk-ins in their requests and needs(slab viewings, material viewing, showing customers our product selection)

- Ensure that all customers helped are entered into the system and database for follow up.

- Learning our product line and material offerings.

- Keeping material samples and literature organized and stocked.

- Taking incoming phone calls and assisting as needed.

-Communicating closely with our outside sales team to close and coordinate sales.

SKILLS:

- Computer savvy (excel, word, emails/outlook, CRM system)

- Interest in design

- Works well with others

- Verbal and written communications skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.57 - $28.00 per hour
