Your Job
Our Phillips-Medisize facility at our Clinton, MA location is seeking a Mold Cleaner to join our team. The Mold Cleaner will be working under the Mold Repair and Mold Maker inspecting, taking apart, and cleaning molds whenever there are quality issues or changeovers. The Mold Cleaner will also create work orders to track labor and for warranty purposes. The ideal person for this role is someone with organizational skills and computer aptitude as they will be tracking and itemizing mold components.
Our Team
Phillips-Medisize is a Medical Device Manufacturer that works with Plastic Injection Molding of the parts. The Mold Cleaner position will be in the tool room along with the Mold Maker, Mold Repairer, and Mold Polisher.
What You Will Do
- Inspect, clean, and assemble/disassemble of molds/mold components
- Create and track mold PMs
- Create work orders
- Source and order tools/equipment for tool room
- Maintain cycle counts on all tools through SAP and MII
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge of injection molding
- Knowledge of different level of polished and textured surfaces
- Ability to read blueprints/CAD files
- Experience with SAP
- Experience in a machinist role
