SierTek Ltd. is seeking an Information Systems Security Test Engineer to support an opportunity at Langley AFB.
Position Overview
The Information Systems Security Test Engineer will support the AF DCGS Test Manager in ensuring Weapon System modifications and new baselines meet ICD 503, Air Force and DoD Cybersecurity compliance.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct, in coordination with applicable Government test organizations, security control test planning activities as related to weapons systems development.
- Document and provide security control test requirements and procedures to the weapons system Program Manager (PM).
- Review and provide comment to vendor-submitted security test procedures.
- Utilize test tools IAW industry standard and document procedures. (CDRLs: A022; A023)
- Generate reports on the executed tests detailing the event, issues discovered, and recommendations.
- As a part of formal Integrated Acceptance Testing, plan, execute, support, and coordinate testing of security requirements.
- Work with other Security Test organizations (i.e. 46 TS and 92nd) Cybersecurity organizations to plan security test events.
- Plan and coordinate all six phases of Cybersecurity test events for the Program Office.
- Security testing will be performed primarily at the DCGS System Integration Laboratory (DSIL), located at Robins AFB GA, or DGS-X located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA. Security testing at DCGS operational sites will only occur as directed by the Government.
Minimum Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical field (Computer, Engineering or Information Systems) from an accredited university
- At least five (5) years of Cyber Security Engineering experience
- At least three (3) years of Information Security Test experience
- IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification
- TS/SCI security clearance
