YOU WILL:

  • Partner with practice leaders and sellers to understand industry challenges and develop compelling messaging that aligns our unique perspective and services to the challenges of the industry
  • Use creative writing to craft industry-specific content (emails, articles, social posts, advertising, search ads, website copy, etc.)
  • Stay current on industry and competitor trends to offer proactive, strategic guidance that shapes our messaging, positioning, and industry use cases for key services
  • Serve as primary liaison between industry sales teams and marketing; Coordinate holistic programs that touch multiple areas
  • Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel industry campaigns and programs alongside other marketers (events, digital, content, PR, etc.)
  • Plan and execute industry conferences, events, roundtables, and webinars
  • Identify third-party industry-specific content to leverage in marketing activities
  • Create industry reports and deliver insights on program performance
  • Other duties as assigned

IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:

  • Experience. 5+ years’ experience in industry or vertical marketing, field marketing, or a related field. Advanced Microsoft Office skills is a must too and experience in professional services a plus.
  • Strategic campaign management. You’ll need to demonstrate expertise to build and execute effective integrated campaigns, from content development and event planning to organic and paid amplification.
  • Data-driven problem solver. Our manager will find the “aha moments” in data or trends to inform programs and approach. You’ll run point on sharing industry program performance details with sellers and practice leaders using clear and compelling storytelling. You’ll be using your entrepreneurial spirit to thrive with minimal supervision and keep your skills fresh by staying current on the latest industry news.
  • Exceptional people, writing, presentation, and communications skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential. You also need to possess the confidence to liaise with multiple groups including senior executives to craft messaging and build out programs. Often creating presentations and strategic plans to demonstrate progress. Finally, you’ll be forming strong relationships with the stakeholders, running point on industry strategies, collaborating with teams to deploy campaigns, working with agency partners, and more.
  • Creative writing and storytelling. Demonstrating excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are crucial as well as the journalistic ability to source angles and articulate compelling perspectives based on input from sellers and practice leaders.
  • Accountability and project management. Our Industry Marketer will need to take ownership of cross-functional industry marketing programs and the quality completion of deliverables. Always keeping projects on track, managing time wisely, making strategic decisions, managing cross-functional stakeholders (in and outside the Marketing team), and keeping an eye on the details.
  • A bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. This must be from an accredited college or university. A master’s degree and/or professional certificates are bonuses.
