A.Y. McDonald Mfg Co. is a major manufacturer of products for water works, high-pressure gas valves for utilities, water pumps and industrial valves. The company is privately owned and has a history of quality products since its’ founding in 1856. A. Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. has a job opportunity for an Industrial Technician I at our Elizabethton, Tennessee facility. This position will be on 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting observations and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements. Programming CNC equipment and editing programs.
- Analyzing work study data and equipment specifications to establish time and production standards to be used in costing, labor reporting, and production analysis.
- Trouble-shooting shop problems associated with new or existing tooling and equipment.
- Assisting in the training of personnel.

Setup machinery and equipment for production on proven programs.
Review change orders.
Update existing entries in the tooling matrix.
Edit and prove out ISO/EIA CNC programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Industrial Technologies or related field
- 1-2 years related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Excellent compensation and benefit package offered.
