Job description
Seeking a highly organized Import Logistics Associate to join our supply chain team in Cerritos, CA. This position requires a multi-tasking individual to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a solid background in import supply chain management and will take a proactive approach in all ocean freight and customs clearance related processes.
- Managing daily inbound shipment flow and ensure containers are delivered/emptied at each designated location
- Identify ocean and drayage freight benchmark to ensure our cost base is market competitive
- Coordinate and update internal teams cross departments on inbound delivery status and schedules
- Develop and maintain contractual relationship with ocean & drayage freight suppliers, as well as with house customs brokers
- Support the updating of all inbound shipping documents and system data integrity
Successful candidates will have:
- Import knowledge dealing directly with carriers and customs brokers
- Prefer Bachelor’s or equivalent 2+ year degree
- Strong proficiency in MS Office based programs, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills and experience in international logistics a plus
- Must have excellent English communication skills. Written and spoken Chinese preferred.

Hourly Pay Scale (depending on experience): $15.50 ~ $23
