Position: Immigration Coordinator

Pay: $30-40 an hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 9 am-5pm CST

Location: Remote

Start Date: February 20th

11 month contract position

Job Description:

• Working closely with immigration counsel to ensure timely and accurate processing of employment-based immigration filings including sponsorship of H1-B, F-1, TN, and L-1 visas; permanent residency processing; responses to USCIS requests for evidence; administering H1-B CAP registration process.
• Will be managing 50 plus employee cases
• Collaborating with legal counsel (internal and external), the People Team, and business leadership
• Liaise with employees and internal teams to coordinate document collection for US visa applications and petitions
• Providing subject matter expertise to People Team and business leaders, inclusive of training leaders and advising and guiding them on immigration policies, procedures, and processes.
• Ensuring the Company’s immigration policies are administered consistently
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills in relation to the above – ensuring that immigration needs are handled timely and accurately
• Assist with tracking/monitoring work authorization expiration dates and routinely update databases and internal visa reports

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience with immigration coordination including VISA experience (H1-B, F-1, TN, and L-1) Knowledge of these visa types and processes is crucial.
• USCIS knowledge
• Experience working with immigration counsel and lawyers
• Experience in Excel (v-look ups and pivot tables are nice to have)
