As you might expect, technical work is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• Estimate in an accurate, timely and competitive estimates in both Design/Build to plan spec projects and provide technical support

• Work with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.
• Attach piping to walls using clamps or brackets. Inspect and test piping already in place
• Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload Collect and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors
• Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, co-workers, and owners.
• Inspecting, repairing, and replacing pipes running to related equipment, such as radiators and HVAC units
• Inspection, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems
• Leading in quality while servicing commercial HVAC equipment

Salary: Up to $55 an hour DOE

Shift: Monday – Friday Schedule

Requirements:

• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Union local 455 and 539
• Experience with FastEST, FastDuct and FastPipe a PLUS!
• Experience in HVAC/Mechanical Wet Side and/or Plumbing estimating.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC/Mechanical Contracting, Mechanical Wet side piping and/or plumbing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
