Chesapeake Comfort Systems is a Residential HVAC business based on the Eastern Shore of MD. We service a large customer base, from Ocean City, MD and Dover DE on the shore, to PG and Howard counties in Central MD, and everywhere in between. The position we're currently looking to fill is a lead service technician position in the Salisbury/Ocean City area. This would be a full-time, year-round position. As a lead service technician, you would be expected to assist customers with residential HVAC concerns, ranging from standard split systems, ductless, gas and oil furnaces, and preferably boilers (although not required). The position would be roughly 95% service work and repairs, but there may be times when assistance is required on installs as well.
The service area for this position would consist of Ocean City, Salisbury, Seaford, Rehoboth, and surrounding areas. We anticipate the pay for this position being between $30-$40/hr, although experience, attitude, and performance may necessitate going outside of this range.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and perform related maintenance and service on residential heating and cooling equipment.
- Gather all necessary job photos and notes in company software.
- Communicate with customers to answer questions and explain work procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance as outlined in our maintenance program.
- Assist with installing heating and cooling equipment when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
