Job Title: Installation Apprentice
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on skill level
We are currently looking for an HVAC Apprentice to join our team! Get paid to learn how to install commercial and residential HVAC equipment. We offer competitive wages, benefits, year - round employment, and career growth opportunities.
Position Summary: To gain experience and an understanding of the HVAC industry. To install commercial heating and air conditioning systems to company standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- 6 months of HVAC experience or combination of education and experience
- HVAC Trade School Certificate desired
- Construction or similar industry experience desired
- EPA Certification or obtain once employed
- Maintain a professional attitude at all time
- Must be able to take direction from Lead workers and Supervisors
- Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to use a tape measure correctly
- Ability to insulate ductwork per code
- Ability to build platforms per code
- Ability to carry 100lbs overhead with assistance
- Ability to unload and load truck as needed
- Well organized and ability to work independently and as a team
- Pass background and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
