CoolToday is looking to add a key member to the HVAC Department. To continue our growth, we’re searching for a HVAC Sales Manager to contribute immediately to the organization. This individual will focus on the sales lifecycle of HVAC sales program to maximize short-term revenue and grow long-term customer relationships by anticipating customer's wants and needs – and then delivering on them. CoolToday is seeking a HVAC Sales Manager to support strategic communication approaches for customers and Small Business audiences designed to drive revenue and long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform outside sales activities, including travel as required
  • Lead by example on how to sell residential HVAC systems and products.
  • Prepare estimates for equipment, materials, projects, and services
  • Complete ride-along with technicians to teach advanced closing techniques.
  • Develop sales training materials for use within HVAC department.
  • Motivate, manage, and discipline HVAC salespeople.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products and services.
  • Review and approve salespeople pay.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Address customer complaints related to field operations.
  • Be able to understand and manage financing processes for the Department
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and a high level of pipeline management
  • Record sales leads, contacts, referrals, future opportunities, follow-ups, key names and addresses
  • Increase market penetration within assigned geography and/or vertical market by securing new customers and expanding the scope of products and services purchased by the existing customer base at key, target, managed, and maintained owner account
  • Conduct post sale follow-ups with customers to ensure all sales agreements have been accomplished and customers are satisfied with all aspects of the transaction
  • Any other duties as required by management team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This job supervises the sales process and all HVAC Salespeople.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of documentable “high energy” sales experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience training HVAC Technicians to sell residential HVAC systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commercial HVAC experience a plus.
  • NATE certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of fleet dispatch and logistics a plus.
  • Knowledge of Service Finance, Greensky, Wells Fargo, and other platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, extraverted, tactful, organized, results and goal-oriented professional
  • Service Titan is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with basic dispatch software.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Class B HVAC Contractors License preferred
  • EPA License preferred
