Baker Electric Home Energy is excited to announce we are hiring HVAC Sales associates in our partner Home Depot locations within Southern Orange County!

Our Sales Associates will provide lead generation to Baker Electric Home Energy & Home Depot by identifying and recruiting potential Air Conditioning & Heating product service or purchasers who shop at Home Depot. The role qualifies potential customers through open, friendly, and engaging dialogue and seeks to establish a sales appointment time. The Sales Associates will also provide necessary information and material explaining the benefits of the HVAC replacement, repair, and maintenance program to customers and build awareness for these programs with store associates.

Hourly pay PLUS a competitive bonus structure!!!

What you'll do:

  • Serve as an integral part of the sales and marketing team. Present a professional appearance that supports and enhances BEHE & Home Depot business image.
  • Increase HVAC awareness of product and services inside the Home Depot stores.
  • Proactively greet and engage customers in an informative/investigative conversation.
  • Qualify potential customers, obtaining customer information and handling incoming inquires and establish a sales appointment date and time.
  • Document prospect s information on provided information sheet. Take detailed, succinct, and accurate notes regarding conversation with decision makers and other pertinent information.
  • Maintain & utilize the HVAC kiosk/display within Home Depot policies and practices in a visual effort to communicate the benefits of Home Depot s HVAC services.
  • Build and maintain cooperative relationships with Lowe s store associates and key management.
  • Educate and build awareness with Home Depot customers and store employees about HVAC program using PK (Product Knowledge) sessions and/or store events.
  • Regularly attend lead generation training meetings to provide status updates, obtain answers to clarifying questions & share obstacles, roadblocks & successes. Gain additional insight into Company s product and desired changes or updates in lead criteria.
  • Participate in the review and maintenance of prospects records.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a Lead Generator, Customer Service Representative, Sales Associate, Call Center Representative, or other related position a plus
  • Ability to identify decision makers and determine buying timeline

  • Ability to move conversations to a decision & ask for an appointment commitment from potential customers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standard office environment. Individual will frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of programs, typically 20 pounds or less. PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $18 - $25. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Baker provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good-faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
