We're looking for a knowledgeable and honest technician who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for handling maintenance needs, diagnosing problems, and repairing HVAC issues. Knowledge, and Ability to perform Diagnostics, Repair, and Maintenance on Commercial Sized Rooftops, Splits, Chillers, Boilers, and controls. The technician will also assist with commercial installations & commercial startups, these tasks will include, but are not limited to, refrigerant piping, control wiring, line voltage connections, etc… Technicians will need to have the ability to communicate, and help develop plans to assist with commercial clients with their needs. The technician needs to be organized, and the punctual successful candidate will also be required to ensure that our clients are satisfied and receive the best possible service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Use and maintain tools and machines to perform duties.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Install and repair heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Work in cramped quarters; crouch, kneel, stoop, or crawl; raise arms above head (when working overhead); reach across body (when working overhead); work with arms extended out in front; stand for long periods of time on feet.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods of time.
- Use hearing protection equipment; withstand noise levels of 85dB(A) or higher; use pneumatic tools.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have prior, successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industry
- Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
- Clean driving record
