Job description
  • Responsible for termination actions, classifications/job analysis, and organizational structure as decided collaboratively with department managers.
  • Serve as point person in employee relations matters. Provide management feedback for conflict management, handle investigations in an unbiased, professional manner.
  • Analyze data and reports concerning all aspects of the employment function to identify and determine causes of people-related problems and develop and make recommendations for improvement of employment policies, processes, and practices.
  • Manages FMLA issues, work injury claims, and disability claims.
  • Leads audit activities such as I-9, drug screen/compliance, etc.
  • responsible for all planning regarding development of the company's workforce, and the role is accountable for transforming all policies into executable plans and departmental procedures.
  • Ensures adherence of benefits policies related to short and long-term leave, PTO, FMLA, etc. Ensure proper execution of documentation related to LOA by overseeing the process. Coach and educate management on absence policies, practices, and processes that create an efficient and positive work environment.
  • Coach leaders in a variety of areas including organizational policy and other legal requirements pertaining to hiring, performance management, employee training and development and dealing with organizational change.
  • Manages the budget of state funds, Medicaid, 3rd party insurance and donations for a nonprofit operation.
  • Compiles department budgets, verifies, and analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports and summary reports for Program Director and BOD. Reporting includes balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flows, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, state and federal regulatory reports and filings, monthly dashboards that summarize the financial health of the organization.
  • Responsible for QB and reconciling accounts, posts journal entries, and maintains a complete and accurate general ledger using independent judgment in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
