Human Resources Generalist
Job description
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for full cycle recruitment, benefits administration, and provides assistance with Human Resource processes for all business locations. This position exercises a proactive role in aligning Human Resource programs, processes, and activities with the corporate strategy to gain and retain competitive advantage for the organization. Assists the Director in the role of change agent to foster and maintain open communications, confidence, high morale and mutual understanding between management and the workforce at all levels. In addition, this role provides administrative support to the human resource function, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in Human Resources is required
4 or more years of experience in human resources is required
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred
Healthcare experience is preferred
Experience working in a union environment is preferred
Demonstrated organizing, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills for effective human resource management is required
Proven ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organization is required
Clear and effective communication skills in both written and verb form is required
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,500.00 - $92,500.00 per year
