You can gain direct experience with the UK HR Employment Office by:
  • Conducting screening interviews with student applicants for position on and off campus.
  • Making decisions on student placement by using criteria established by hiring organizations.
  • Marketing our services to Lexington employers to create opportunities for UK students.
  • Recording and tracking data for federal grants.
  • Posting requisitions to Integrated Employment System.
  • Providing excellent customer service to students, employers and campus departments

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be comfortable with MS Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
