The Human Resources Associate will collect, compile, and analyze HR and Compensation data, metrics, and statistics. This role will also support general human resources activities and payroll administration functions of the Bank.

Specific Job Functions:

Collects and compiles HR compensation metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.

Assists with compensation calculations, including verification of the calculations based on metrics or data from various sources.

Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Perform daily posting as required to the general ledger.

Prepares entries and performs reconciliation on assigned general ledger internal accounts.

Serves as a back-up to the Payroll Administrator for payroll processing.

Executes regular HRIS/payroll reporting and coordinates as necessary with the accounting team.

Assists with other HR processes including benefit and compensation review.

May assist with data collection and analysis for compensation related projects related to salary scales, tile alignment, FLSA analysis, etc.

Provides support in validating data for compliance requirements, such as VETS, EEOC and other annual regulatory reporting.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and analysis through team collaboration.

Responsible for being compliant with all regulations and compliance requirements pertaining to job function.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to analyze data metrics and execute accurate accounting related calculations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and payroll management software.
  • Preferred knowledge of general payroll processes and account reconciliation, including general ledger posting.
  • Previous experience within a similar role, including experience with HR functions, including but not limited to general administration, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
