Position Summary:

• The Industrial Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems Specialist oversees the site Responsible Care® 14001 and ISO: 9001 management systems to ensure conformance and continual improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain documented HS&ES management system certified to RC14001:2015 for the Frankford, PA plant
• Maintain document control and oversee HSE and Quality procedure update process
• Support the enterprise MIS software solution implementation to meet changing needs
• Facilitate and manage Management Review meetings
• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external management system audits
• Assist with facilitating customer audits
• Conduct HSE management system internal audits at other manufacturing sites
• Benchmark with other company sites to identify improvement opportunities
• Work with site teams to integrate HS&ES systems with Quality, Operations and Engineering functions
• Conduct prioritized aspect/risk and trend analysis to support strategic planning
• Actively participate on the site CARE committee
• Conduct in-plant HSE and Quality observations and assessments
• Support plant HS&ES function including reporting of key performance metrics, monthly reporting, and aspects management
• Assist plant Operations and Maintenance in maintaining, reviewing, updating, and standardizing plant procedures and training documentation
• Maintain and control plant SharePoint sites for all controlled documents including procedures, job aids, work instructions, check sheets, etc.
• Assist plant Learning Leader in coordinating PSM / ISO / RC14001 compliance-based training sessions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, safety, environmental, logistics management, engineering, or related fields
• 1+ years of experience with demonstrated success in a health, safety, or environmental role, management systems, or related area
• Excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated audit skill and/or ISO based management systems lead auditor a plus

• 10% travel requirement
