Human Resource Specialist/ Bookkeeper
This is an in-person (not remote) position which includes assistance with implementation of Human resources procedures in addition to Accounting/Order Entry duties (please refer to below for detail).
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist with implementation of Human Resources procedures and processes
· Prepare and maintain payroll records and reports on a weekly and monthly basis for the business owner’s final review
· Prepare and distribute weekly HR updates to employees including maintenance of Human Resource Records
· Provide all Compliance Labor Laws to existing and new incoming employees
Interview prospective employees and report to business owners for final review
· Onboard all new hires
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, as well as schedule training
Coordinate and assist with employee benefits and health and safety events
· Assist with daily order entry with accuracy using QuickBooks Online
· Reconcile up to four (4) company accounts on a regular basis using QuickBooks Online
Mandatory Requirements:
· Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
· Education and Experience with Compliance Labor Laws and Human Resources Implantation for California and Hawaii Regulations.
· Job Type: Full-time in office (Not a remote position)
· Starting Pay: $33/hr. Pay based on experience (Not a salary position)
· Ability to commute/relocate to Newbury Park (Required)

· Certificate of CPLP, PHR, SPHR, UIBS and SHRM-SCP (Required)
