JOB EXPECTATIONS

• The Human Resource Manager is responsible for providing leadership and functional expertise.
• Consult with and mentor managers on employee relations issues. Assure appropriate corrective actions are consistently administered.
• Manage risks including WC/GL claims, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, FLSA.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in bi-weekly payroll.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
• Familiar with EEOC position statements and how to develop a statement.
• Approve addition of headcount.
• Approve disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Prepare or maintain documentation related to team member personnel files, separation notices, DOL hearing responses, or garnishments.
• Assist HR Director with employee life cycle: recruit, develop, retain.
• Perform paperless HR functions and be on the lookout for automated HR solutions.
• Some travel to (31) division locations may be required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management or a related field
• 5+ years Human Resource Manager experience
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Experience with SAP and SharePoint preferred
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
