Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for an HR Generalist located at our San Marcos Fabrication facility. Epic takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for personnel; assists in the implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Conducts training sessions for employees and management team.
• Coordinates recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt personnel; conducts new-employee orientations.
• Coaches management team on HR policies and procedures
• Builds and maintains relationships with talent pipeline sources (e.g., local high schools, training colleges, etc.)
• Handles employee relations, counseling, and exit interviewing.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports.
• Maintains personnel records.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal regulations by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree: Required
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel experience a must); Various Reporting Systems; Applicant Tracking Systems
